Hummus Salad Dressing!
Hello there everyone, and happy eating! 😋
In today’s post, I wanted to share this most delicious and straightforward go-to salad dressing that is a bit healthier than most. At the same time, it helps make you eat more leafy greens throughout your day and week! :)
Did you know that just 2 TBSP of hummus is sufficient for getting a serving of beans for the day? 🤔 Beans are great for you for many reasons!
This is my go-to dressing at the moment, and this is how you make it!:
>>Mix well to thoroughly combine:
1/4 cup roasted red pepper hummus
1/8 cup cold water
1/2 tsp olive oil
>>Makes about 1/4 cup + 1/8 cup of dressing!
This will keep for around a week in your fridge, in a sealed container.
If you like, you can play around with other flavors of hummus. You could also try adding your own choice of herbs to give your dressing more taste, or a different flavor depending if you are making a more savory salad or more of a garden salad where using dill in your dressing will help compliment the veggies in your salad!
